Color + Blow was created by hairstylist and colorist Diana Taylor, whose 20-year career behind the chair revealed something important: maintaining healthy, beautiful hair especially when color-treated requires more than great technique. It demands clean, intentional care. After years specializing in textured and color-treated hair, Diana saw that clients needed products that supported moisture, strength, and long-term hair health without unnecessary chemicals or waste.

But the deeper roots of Color + Blow grew from Diana’s personal wellness journey. As she began prioritizing whole foods, cleaner living, and a more mindful approach to self-care, she noticed how what we put into our bodies plays just as strong a role as what we put on them. This shift reshaped how she approached beauty and ingredients. It made her pay closer attention to labels, to sourcing, and to the way everyday products impact both our bodies and the environment. That awareness became a guiding force behind every Color + Blow formulation.

The result is a line of naturally derived, pH-balanced, solid shampoo and conditioner bars, handmade in small batches and designed to support healthy hair for a wide range of textures and needs. While the brand began with a focus on supporting color-treated curls and coils, Color + Blow has intentionally expanded to be welcoming and effective for anyone seeking cleaner, simpler, wellness-centered haircare.
